Easier Hair Removal For All of Us

Look out barbers, Gillette wants your job! Gillette's new heated razor technology is supposed to provide consistent and sustained warmth that gets distributed all over the face. It looks and acts just like a traditional model by being waterproof but in the handle is a little bit bulkier. The difference-maker is a heating element near the top of the handle, where it connects with the cartridge. Once you activate that, with the push of a button, it takes less than a second to heat the warming bar to either 113 or 122 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s also completely waterproof that has wireless magnetic charging similar to most electric toothbrushes making it portable for at home use and travel.
Gillette has created a razor that may take away part of a barber’s job. Instead of going to a barber for a clean up on their facial hair, men can just buy one razor that has a lifetime warranty for about $150. The point of this new technology is for men to be able to have the hot towel feel without having to pay so much money for the rest of their life. Apparently, Gillette razors were completely sold out during last Christmas season. It is as if when a company caters to the wants of consumers instead of adding on more blades to the razor, it reaps benefits. I guess it is safe to say that there won’t be so many customers asking for hot towel shaves anymore.

Fortunately, there is new hair removal technology that can also be used for women to remove hair and can save them a lot of money in the long run. Laser hair removal requires about 5-10 sessions for each part of the body and one session costs $235. That is $2350 for only one part of the body! The new laser hair removal technology only cost a couple hundred and can be used all over the body. This is a huge price difference. It can be assumed that the main users are going to be adults with stable incomes. With this new technology, they are not only saving money but time. Going to professionals may be a long commute, having to get ready to go, and since hair removal professionals are only free during the day, you may have to take time off of work.
Anything that estheticians claim they can do, this hair removal technology can do it for cheaper. The creators of the new hair removal technology made sure that there would be the prevention of future hair growth, no discoloration, and no lack of hydration. Regardless of hair color or thickness, these machines do the job. This new hair removal technology to be used at home has easy to use technology, cordless, and ergonomic. Just like how men may not be asking for hot towel shaves anymore, I don’t think there are going to be as many women going for expensive spa treatments and professional skin removal anymore.

While I can not really comment on the satisfaction that may come from the hot towel feeling that barbers provide when they remove or trim men's facial hair, the prospect of at home hair removal is something I am definitely interested in. Hair removal in incredibly time consuming as it can grow as quick as by the end of the day, and for me specifically it is something that takes ages. I have very sensitive skin, and have to use special (and expensive!) razors to shave my legs, and still have to move slowly in addition to avoid irritating or nicking my skin several times. Laser hair removal is something I have looked into before, but it is so expensive and requires many appointments just to see some progress in the slowing of hair growth. At home laser hair removal, with the right device, would make my life so much easier. The Tria at home laser hair removal device is definitely something that could be of use to many women, with the ease of doing it at home and at fraction of the price. The only issue with this is having to be the one to inflict numerous painful zaps to your skin, rather than sitting on a table while someone else does it for you. Overall though, I think the device is a really great idea and will be helpful for many people, and I'm sure men could get some use out of it as well!
